M12!!!

Today I'm off to ancient Rome to see how good their food is.  I am now in the city square.  First, I will go to a restaurant and eat the best food they have.   I see a place that looks good - I will try there first.  I just walked in and saw lots of people eating many different kinds of bread.  This must be one of the most popular restaurants in Rome.  I will get flat bread with olives and cheese.  I think that is the most delicious stuff here...

That was very good, and I can understand why so many people were eating it.  Now I am going to go to one of the Circus Maximus shows.  It is very convenient that is right across the street.  Uh-oh, someone thinks I am one of the people preforming in the show.  I think this is going to be bad for everyone but me (I am good at chariot racing).  I will enjoy this task.  I am looking forward to racing in this arena because it is the first and largest chariot racing stadium in ancient Rome.  It can hold over one quarter of the city's population.

I just realized that the man who grabbed me had a waffle pattern on his tunic.  The other racers are  wearing their best uniforms and all I have is my street clothes.  Someone just told me that it is time to start, so I have to find my chariot.  During our first lap, I realize that they're better at this than me.  I shouldn't feel too bad because they're getting more practice than me.   With twelve of us going around this track, there isn't much room between the chariots.  Someone just bumped me and my wheel broke.   I have to go to my own time.  Good thing I always have my magic rock with me.
