This week I am going to go to ancient India to learn about the ancient Brahman religion.  Well here I go.  ZAP!

Wow!  It is very warm here; good thing that I have shorts on.  I see a town in the distance.  I am going to see if I can get a hotel room or something. 

I am going to use my background knowledge to get into their stupa.  I already know that Brahman is the supreme ruler of Earth-that is mostly everything.   Well here I go. 

"Can I get into your stupa?"

"Yes, but it is not a stupa.  Stupa's are Buddhist religious monuments that represent Buddha's physical presence."

Wow, it was very simple to get in.  This is a very nice place to have a ceremony.  In my experience, most of the time, if the place is nice their food is good.  I think I will find that first.  It looks like they have chicken, water, and lots of toppings.  This topping looks like sweet and sour sauce.  Oh, I hear a bell.   I think that means the ceremony is starting.  I'd better go and see.

I think it is a burial ceremony.  I can tell because there is a body with a white sheet draped over it.  Bum! Boom!  Is that a drum?  It is a drum.  They must be doing a play about this person's life.  It looks cool because they have fancy costumes on.  The people are dressed like lions, goats, birds, people and a dog.  It looks like the dead guy had a very boring life working on a farm.  It looks like they are portraying him as if he is dying and coming back to life.  Is he coming back as a dog?  

Someone is coming.  What do they want?  Are they going to kick me out of here?

"Hello," said this strange person.

"Who are you?"

"I am Friget.  It looked like you did not know what was going on so I came over to tell you.  He was a bad person so he is being reborn as an animal.  We believe in reincarnation, a cycle of being reborn after death. After this ceremony he will be cremated so that his soul can be released from its earthly existence."

"Thank you." Now I understand that if you lead a bad life you get reborn as something "lower" than a human.  Maybe an animal.

These drums are extra loud because of the sound ricocheting off the walls. I have a headache and have to get out of here.  I am going to go now.  ZAP!

Wow that was a very fun trip. Although it was a little dirty, siting on the crumbling ground, wondering if it was going to brake.
