Hello it is me again, and today I will be going to the ancient city of Mohenjodaro. My goal is to find out how this city disappeared. But first I will need my rock. I think I left it on my very cool coffee table. There it is. Now I am off. BANG!!!!!!! Wow! I just landed by a river. If I am correct, this should be the Sarasvati River. I think I see a small village over the hill. I'll ask some one there for directions.
"Hello, what is your name?"
"My name is Chrostos. How may I assist you?"
"Can you tell me where the city of Mohenjodaro is?"
"It is to the east of us. You should probably travel next to the Indus River until you spot it."
"Thank you." Well, that was easy...
There it is. That must be the citadel on the raised area over there. Down below appears to be the area where most people live. It has nine streets lined with houses and workshops. It doesn't look like many people are in the vicinity down below the citadel; the rest must be at the citadel. This probably means it is a time of war. I see a man lolling around making toys down there. Oh, and there are two more people swimming in the Great Bath. Do they think this is a time to be on vacation? I should go get them so that we can help everyone. "Hey, you should come with me because there is an enemy coming this way." It looks like they heard me, and they know this city better than me so it would be best if I follow them. Wow! This is a small citadel. There are a couple of people hanging out the door. I see the enemy army coming and the soldiers look very big with their armor. I am going to talk to Wasosas, the military leader, and ask if I can help make the battle plan. "Hello, is your name Wasosas?"
"Yes it is, what do you want?" he said in a voice that made my teeth vibrate.
"I want to volunteer to help make a battle plan."
"Okay. I think we should have our troops grab bows and arrows. If we stay alert, the victory will be ours."
"I agree."
Let the battle begin! Wow! The enemy army is a lot more viscous and volatile than I imagined.
The violent battle is going on forever. Everywhere I look I see victims with arrows sticking out of their bloody bodies. Even the women and children are dying at the hands of this ruthless army.
I am out of here.
That was close. Now I know how the city of Mohenjodaro disappeared. 'Til next time. See you later.
